This work can be interpreted as a metaphor for what any collector (and, by extension, any art lover) is looking for when entering an art gallery or an artist center: a treasure.
This proposal - by which Steve Giasson engage himself to dissimulate (as far as possible) the diamond in the home of the collector - is an opportunity to realize the dream of having one at home, without knowing exactly where he it is: an inaccessible, but always desirable object.
